PAYMENT POLICY STATEMENT AND DISCLOSURES
1. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
By completing payment on our website or executing a rental agreement, you ("Customer") authorize SS Miami30th LLC dba SpareSpace Storage ("Company") to charge your designated payment method for:
- Initial Charges: First month's rent, applicable fees, deposits, and other charges associated with your account
- Recurring Charges: Monthly rent and any applicable fees, charges, or outstanding balances on your account
2. INITIAL PAYMENT POLICY
2.1 Non-Refundable Initial Charges All initial payments made for the first month of rent and associated charges are final and non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to change of mind, inability to move in, or dissatisfaction with the unit.
2.2 Unit Transfer Option If you select an incorrect unit size prior to occupancy, you may transfer your initial payment as a 100% credit toward a different available unit. This transfer option is available only:
- Before you take possession of the originally selected unit
- Subject to availability of alternative units
- One-time only per initial transaction
3. RECURRING MONTHLY PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
3.1 Automatic Payment You authorize Company to automatically charge your payment method on file for monthly rent and charges on the due date specified in your rental agreement each month until you terminate your tenancy in accordance with your lease terms.
3.2 Payment Method Updates You are responsible for maintaining current, valid payment information on file. You must update your payment method prior to any expiration or change.
4. REFUND POLICY
4.1 No Refunds for Occupied Space No refunds or credits will be issued for rent or other charges if you have occupied the space during any portion of a rental period, including occupancy for as little as one (1) day.
4.2 Pro-Rated Charges Monthly rent is charged in full for any month in which the unit is occupied for any portion of that month. There is no pro-rating of rent for partial month occupancy.
5. PAYMENT PROCESSING
5.1 Payment Methods Company accepts payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods as specified on our website.
5.2 Failed Payments Failed or declined payments may result in late fees, interruption of access to your storage unit, account suspension, and/or lease default and lien as specified in your rental agreement.
5.3 Processing Fees Certain payment methods may incur processing fees. Any applicable fees will be disclosed prior to payment completion.
6. DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
Customers agree to contact Company directly to resolve any billing disputes before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes with their financial institution. Improper chargebacks may result in account termination and collection actions for unpaid balances.
7. GOVERNING LAW
This Payment Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
8. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By submitting payment or signing a rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Payment Policy Statement and Disclosures.
